Burnsides would like to welcome the following residents who were
admitted in January: Thelma Barkley, Mary Faye Hollingsworth, and
Patricia Tolle. There were three additional residents admitted in
January who did not want their names in the paper. Best wishes to
the following residents who were discharged to home in January:
Margaret Mullins, Helen Lackey, Earl Lackey, Russell “Bud” Sutton, Lois
Norton, and Audrey Neidigh. There were four additional residents
who were discharged to home last month who did not want their names in
the paper. Heartfelt sympathy goes to the families of Eugene
Tingley, Darrel Tingley, Eileen Ellington, and Lena Kennedy.
Burnsides would like to welcome the following new employees: Nicki
Parks, CNA; Megan Young, CNA; Cherie Riggs, Dietary Aide; Laura
Buchanan, CNA; and Chelsea Taylor, RN.
Residents with birthdays in February are: 8th-Iris “Marie” Alford;
16th-Mildred “Louise” Schlegel; 19th-Alice Frailey; and 27th-Marjorie
Boyd. Birthday cards may be sent to Burnsides Community Health

Guild hours for the month of December were 53 hours among 19 workers.
Church Hostesses in December were Reta Bumpus, Jan Jones, Patty Marrs,
Eva Blockinger, Kay Williams, Carolyn Ralston, and Joann Huffington.
Bingo Helpers in December were Margaret Mallory, Faye Baggs, Virginia
Dean, Joann Huffington, Helen Wernz, Eva Blockinger, Rosa McKinney, and
Carole Ann Warner. Guild members who delivered mail to residents
in December were Yvonne Shively, Jan Jones, Virginia Dean, Dorothea
Bland, Jean Loper, Patty Marrs, Joann Huffington, Margaret Pine, and
Carolyn Ralston. Guild members who assisted in other activities in
December were Margaret Pine, Edna Douglas, Reta Bumpus, Yvonne Shively,
Linda Lambert, Patty Marrs, and Georgia Wendte.
