As the Minimum Data Set Coordinator, Debbie works with the Care Plan
Coordinator to see the current condition of each Resident, which is then
transferred to the state. Debbie and the Business Office Manager
then deal with Medicare and Medicaid to establish reimbursement rates.
Debbie also works with the aids to document daily records for each of
the residents.
Debbie was born and raised in Marshall and is a graduate of Marshall
high school. At Ivy Tech, Debbie received her LPN and later worked
for her RN at Lincoln Trail College. Debbie started out at
Burnsides as an aid in high school. Later on, she worked at Cork
Medical center for 12 years and then returned to Burnsides to work as a
floor nurse before becoming the MDS coordinator. Debbie is
married to Dennis Miller of Marshall and together they have two kids
Danielle and Dana.
